I just ordered up a set of the Ultra reverse scroll saw blades as I wanted to compare them to the Pegas on the projects that I build.
First impression is that you have to compensate for blade drift which I was hoping wouldn't happen with the way the teeth are cut into the blade. Beyond that the blades I use which are usually 2/0 through 3 cut very smoothly and a person can be more confident in their curve and angle cuts that the blades track well. A recent project of cutting through exterior house siding to create some embelishments saw the blades wear normally, no breakage. I think the Niqua blades are my new blade that works equally well to the Pegas but not as aggressive. Will use these now over the Olson blades which in my opinion tend to wear out too quickly.

I panicked because my blades were late (thank you Covid-19!) Sent a quick letter to a friend, just asking if he'd heard of any issues. He forwarded it on and, next thing I know, I've got the president/owner of Bear Woods on my computer! How often does that happen?!?! He talked me off the ledge and I, of course, tried to get a free scroll saw for my um, "pain and suffering". Seems like a heck of a guy if he's willing to talk to me about $20 worth of blades. The package came the next day - but I'm still waiting for my saw...
Oh, almost forgot, the blades are great! They cut 3/4" walnut and white oak like they were Baltic birch.

I have used the number 7 and number 5. Each cuts well and no issues. For the last 18-19 years I have been using the same Niqua name blades, but the precision milled with the bottom teeth reversed. They have been excellent. I am sure that I will find these ULTRA Revers Tooth blades cutting with the same ease. Very pleased with the product and will definitely be stacking up when the last of the precision blades are finished. I will be using both kinds on and off with different woods and do not expect any problems.

The blade pack was nicely packaged and labelled. This assortment will give any Scrollsawer a great variety to find out which blade works best for them. I personally have favored the 2/0 rev tooth for stock under 3/8 and 5 rev tooth for 1/2 and 3/4. I am looking forward to experimenting with the other blade sizes. I am going to find out if this old dog call learn a few new tricks. And I am in for a good experience.

These blades are an excellent product. There is very little drift when cutting. I cut a pattern in a stack of 4 1/4 inch walnut boards and I had no problem. I usually use Pegas Modified Geometry blades and the Niqua blades compare well with them. However, these blades are not aggressive enouth when cutting thick wood and stacked 1/8 Baltic Birch.

Trying different blades really like the Pegas #5 plain end blades double reverse . For me they cut better and last longer.
The purchase was painless the only thing it took like 10 days to be delivered. No other complaints will purchase again. Highly recommend Bear Woods .

These blades are absolutely great. I am extremely new to scrolling, I have the WEN 3920 I consider it a Buick. These blades are Cadillac blades second to none, they work flawlessly. I’ve used them on everything from 1/8 all away up to an inch and a half and they cut great.

This was the first time I tried the Niqua Ultra Reverse blades, and I was very pleased. The blades cut quickly and accurately, leaving almost no tear-out on the bottom of the workpiece. These blades have been added to my "definitely will reorder" list.

The Niqua blades cut well with no binding on turns. They leave no rough edges on cuts. There is little clean up needed after cutting with these blades. I will order them again.
