Pegas Spiral Scroll Saw Blades #1
There are teeth on 361° of the blade which allows for sawing in all directions. The work does not have to make sharp cuts, so sharp inside corners can be created. This allows working long pieces which couldn't be turned on a 16" or 21" Scroll Saws as the wood can be fed in straight moves.
The helical shape allows cutting around the entire periphery. Though not suitable for hardwoods, this blade is excellent for medium hardwoods, softwoods, plastics, ferrous metals, nonferrous metals, bone, wax and more.
Pegas Scroll Saw Blades are the highest quality Scroll Saw Blades. Fabricated using a process that produces crisp, sharp, precisely formed teeth, the blades are then heat treated and tempered to make blades that maintain uniform grain structure, achieve the highest hardness, and stay sharper longer.
Swiss made Pegas blades will add a new level of sophistication to your work with their smooth finishes and make your saw feel new.

I use Pegas Spiral Scroll Saw Blades exclusively. Having produced over 1,000 name plates cut from reclaimed pallet planks and select hardwoods, I have found that the Pegas #1 & #2 blades can handle the job.
Happily, Bear Woods Supply has fabulous customer service. Place the order online and the blades arrive in 2-3 days.
I also want to add, BWS has the Pegas Clamp Head for the Dewalt Scroll Saw. This is the best investment I ever made for the saw. The tension lever is PERFECT in terms of applying the correct tension.
In summary,
Bear Woods, I'm glad I met you!
PS: I'll try sending a picture of one of my name projects.
Got an order from Bear Woods to try out some of their blades and they are very good. Have not done much cutting with them but so far they work out great. Also pretty good prices and pretty fast shipping coming from Canada. I will definitely be ordering more of these !
For a while I used all Niqua #1 blades. Then I got some Pegas blades #1. What I found was that the Pegas blades last longer and cut better, but their more brittle. The Niqua blades are more stretchy and better for beginners. But over all they're both good blades.
the blades have been working really well on thin copper glued to 1/4" pressboard. Still trying to figure out the best blade for cutting 1/4" pine.
These blades work great in medium hardwood. I like the addition Teeth Per Inch for a smooth cut.
Very sharp blades tend to cut straighter. These are sharp and the can cut straight.
very happy with quality and faster than expected shipping.
really like these blades and will keep using them
Very fast shipping and packaging.
Basically bitchen blades! Always
Great blades
