There are teeth on 360° of the blade which allows for sawing in all directions. The work does not have to make sharp cuts, so sharp inside corners can be created. This allows working long pieces which couldn't be turned on a 16" or 21" Scroll Saws as the wood can be fed in straight moves.
The helical shape allows cutting around the entire periphery. Though not suitable for hardwoods, this blade is excellent for medium hardwoods, softwoods, plastics, ferrous metals, nonferrous metals, bone, wax and more.

I have used these Pegas blades before and they are excellent blades. They cut very true and stay sharp longer than most. I have used the #2/0 Spiral to cut 1†thick live edge oak for some detailed cuts and they did fine. I have also used the Modified Geometry straight blades and like them as well. They are super smothe when cutting. The service from this company is excellent as well. I appreciate both the service and quality of the company and their blades. I fully recommend both.
Got an order from Bear Woods to try out some of their blades and they are very good. Have not done much cutting with them but so far they work out great. Also pretty good prices and pretty fast shipping coming from Canada. I will definitely be ordering more of these !
Simply great product and great people to deal with. I have kept trying different blades until I came upon these and now I am no longer looking or trying anything else.
Or has Spiral blades did very well. Felt like I had more control than others I have used. Will definitely be my go to piral blade moving forward
These blades are extremely strong and retain their sharpness better than any other blade Ive used. Pegas owns the spiral blade industry.
Arrived on time; however I had asked for 1-doz. drills {size unknown} for making hole for the blade. They were not included !
These blades work great in medium hardwood. I like the addition Teeth Per Inch for a smooth cut.
