pros best service from a company easy to use web site , order sent in a timely manner well packed and really liked that a person signed it saying thank you. after getting the blades dialed in they could not have been better however I did brake 5 of them right away not the fault of the blades but rather the poor holding clamps of my scroll saw but that problems solved I ordered a new saw and should get that by wed. my purchased on the recommendation by Steve Good the scroll saw guru rom what I was able to cut I found them the blades to be smooth and easy to control I will be ordering more as soon as get my new saw and get back to the shop thank you for the blades and the service
I am a wooden jigsaw puzzle maker. I have been using German made blades for years, but recently I found I could no longer find them. I switched to a US made brand, which I found inferior to the German made. However in searching further I found these Swiss made blades and they are wonderful - much better than the US made, and perhaps even better than the German made ones I used to use. I will continue to use and purchase these blades here. Delivery to the US was quick - a plus!
I am new to scroll sawing and this is my first order and use of these blades. Used on practice pieces ranging between 1/4" to 3/4" on soft and hard woods. I found them capable of making tight cuts. I will likely buy them again. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 rating is that they dull fairly quick. That said, it may be due to my cutting and/or the type of wood I was using them on, so take that with a grain of salt. All in all, sign me a satisfied customer.
Purchased 12 dozen #2/0 Pegas scroll saw blades to get the pricing down to just over 31 cents per blade. Considering this order was shipped from Canada to the US, it arrived fairly quickly. The blades are definitely tiny. I purchased them to cut 5/16 thick red oak. The blades cut real nice. They dull after about 30 to 40 minutes of cutting, but I expected that. I am very satisfied with their performance and Bear Woods.
I was very pleased with the date that was stated to receive the scroll saw blades was right on the money. I just as of today used the Pegasus blades and I really impressed with them. Once I go through my other blades I will definitely be ordering from you again. Oh I forgot to mention that it was nice to see an actual person's signature on the invoice.
I often do interstitial portraits. No visible entry hole is wanted. With a #68 drill bit I have a diameter that is smaller than the final saw blades width. A #2/0 blade can fit in the diameter of the #68 drill bit and it can made a slot a little bit bigger. It's is also nice to have sharp blades.
Got an order from Bear Woods to try out some of their blades and they are very good. Have not done much cutting with them but so far they work out great. Also pretty good prices and pretty fast shipping coming from Canada. I will definitely be ordering more of these !
I ordered 1/8 and 1/4 inch plywood for use in creating a puzzle photo for a family member. It arrived boxed and cushioned in short order. I am happy with the material and the timely delivery.
The #2/0 blades are very god blades, they last longer than the blades I ust to use I just wish I would've ordered reverse tooth. I am very pleased with delivery time and the blades themselves.
I got these blades to cut wooden puzzles. They’re perfect. Highly recommended if you need smooth and intricate cuts.
Also, the service was very fast and efficient.
I was very impressed with the Pegas scroll saw blades both in their keen sharpness and their ability to maintain their mark when cornering.
This is my first purchase of the Pegas skip tooth blades. Very happy with the quality, looking forward to buying their other selection.
The best quality blades I have used in many years. I almost think I have a new scroll saw. They cut like a knife through hot butter.
I’ve been using these blades from Bear Woods for puzzle cutting for a couple of years. First rate.
Fast service, great products. Thank you!
Haven't had a chance to use yet.
Good blades, good experience!
