Not the panacea proclaimed

After making some modifications to correct a design error and some old fashioned grease, I have it working OK It requires the use of two hands to operate, whereas the old one with the spring operation required only one to lift the arm. Steve Good doesn't agree with me, but mine went on a brand new saw and the configuration may different from Steves. Who knows? I'm getting used to it.

Parts arrived quickly. Everything included. No instruction sheet however if you need instructions for this addition you should not be scrolls awing. In five minutes it was installed and proved its worth with the first hole change. Should be and addition to and DeWalt saw

Excellent idea but expensive

The Arm Lifter is very useful for holding the arm of the scroll saw especially when you are trying to put the blade through a hole in your project, but I thought it was a little expensive for a metal rod and 3 screws.
