Reverse Skip Tooth Scroll Saw Blades #5R - Swiss Made
These blades have the same tooth geometry as Skip, but the addition of reverse teeth on the bottom of the blade helps prevent splinters on the underside of the piece as the top teeth do not cut entirely through the work.
These blades work with wood ranging from 1/4 - 1 inch thick, and will perform well on wood, plastic, bone, Corian and most fibrous materials.
Swiss made Pegas blades are the highest quality scroll saw blades, and will add a smooth finish to all projects.

Hi the #5RScroll Scroll Saw Blades seam to break very easy i did not put them under strain, will try again on other timber. The Flying Dutchmen blades seem to handle cutting better. Will continue to use Pegas to see what happens. Regards Alexander

Blade #5R: This blade is like the "blade for all seasons". You can use it for small patterns and also for large patterns. In fact, this is all the blade you need for all kinds of patterns, big or small or wood, thick or thin.

CONSISTENTCY. OK, that's two reasons. Better blades yield better cutting and that's what these blades give you. Do yourself a favor and get these blades from Bear Woods

Reverse skip tooth #5R. No better than Flying Dutchman, which is easier to install with the crimp at the top. All in all both products a disappointment. On top of that I was charged an international fee. I'll buy USA!!!!
