Quartz Clocks

We had two mini clocks that were not operating. We were able to work with Bearwood and got the components. The clocks were easily repaired within 15 mins each and are accurately displaying the time.

The movement was easily installed using the online diagram. It appears to be of a much better manufacture than others I've previously purchased. So far,over the past week, it is keeping excellent time.The free set of hands was a nice addition.

My original movement was an Elgin, and this new one was very close in design to it. A bit short on the shaft, but I just left out my spacer and it all went together and worked very nicely.

My first purchase from BW, Order two Quartz movements and hands. When it arrived, I thought the worse as the box was in very sad shape. It literally appeared to have driven over with a bicycle as there was a 2" wide groove on both sides and these were 1" deep. I thought there was no way the movements would not be damaged. Fortunately the movements were bubble wrapped well. I installed one of the movements and it works perfectly, I'm saving the other for a future project. The hand set was bent a bit although only required a bit of convincing to straighten everything. Clock fit and works perfect, I like the very precise movement and it appears to be accurate. thanks and thanks for the bubble wrapped protection, it worked!

Clocks arrived nicely packaged and in time for Christmas gifts which I had made out of CD's. I wash't expecting them until mid January. I was very impressed with this awesome service from Bear Woods. Will be ordering another 20 clocks in the near future. Clocks all work perfect, easy to assemble. It's important to make sure you select the proper hands for your project as the first order I put in about a month ago, I had ordered hands that were just a little too long for my CD clocks. Also make sure the clock you order has the correct thickness for the dial face as well. All in all, no complaints and very satisfied with Bear Woods service.

I was replacing the clockwork in a garden clock that has a thermometer. I had to futz with the arms to clear the thermometer stem and arm. I got it wrong at first and the clockwork jammed and stopped. I thought I might have broken it - but it resumed working once I adjusted all clearances. Also, the battery electrodes on the new unit are far superior to the original.
I spent a total of $16 for parts and shipping. A new garden clock is about $22. The savings don't seem like much, but I can happily report that I kept the old clock out of the landfill. Recycling/repurposing is important to my wife and I. Besides that, it's now a much better clock!

When our favorite clock stopped working, I hit the internet (YouTube actually) and came across your video on how to repair your own clock. From there I went to your website and ordered the parts, SO EASY. I watched the video while putting everything together, which made it easy. There was an issue with the clock hands, but customer service handled it quickly. Knowledgeable staff, customer service is stellar. Everything turned out very well and I am very happy. My clock works again! The only thing I would like to see are larger hour hands (width). For my senior eyes it’s a little difficult to differentiate the hour and minute hands..

The mini quartz movement that I bought to replace the one in an old table top clock I have. The movement fit perfectly in the clock and the hands that came with it were better than the original ones. It was easy to install without modification, all the screw holes lined up. I had the new movement in the clock in under fifteen minutes. And the clock runs like new again. My wife was really happy to have her clock working. I would recommend following the instructions on how to take measurements and make sure you take a careful look at the pictures of the movement that you are considering on purchasing.

I was in need of a new clock mechanism and hands for an mid-80s New Haven 'Daily Bread' wall clock. I couldn't find the exact mechanism to re-use the hands, so I had to purchase something similar. This was close enough to the original, although the shaft was slightly longer. I use the washer on the back side of the clock face too shorten the shaft. The unit is fully functional and I'm back up and running. It's also a USA made part, so bonus there, at least for me.

These clock parts are easy to assemble and work just fine. I have used hundreds of them for clocks that I make and sell. I have never had a customer complaint which makes me very happy. The added bonus is that they are made in USA, and while I would be happier if they were Canadian made, finding anything made in North America is a coup. I am also a great fan of the straight hands which look sleek and modern and the spade hands for a more traditional look.

Clock hands are a little lighter weight than what I've used in the past from another company but they look good never-the-less.

I have used these products before, from another distributor, and found them equality satisfactory for the little clocks we were making for Cub Scouts. However, I paid for the two day shipping, and the items arrived about 8 days after ordering, after our last meeting before Christmas, so we had to plan a special meeting the day before Christmas for the boys to finish the project.

Supplied items as ordered. Had an issue with installing the Seconds hand as my old mechanism had a much smaller shaft. The Seconds hand supplied did fit with firm pressure applied. The slits on opposing sides of the Seconds hand enabled this.

The parts work great. I had a problem with the hour hand, the mounting hole in the hour hand was too big and it did not fit the movement. I reused the old hour hand from my worn out movement. I notified your customer service representative (Analies) about the wrong size hole in the hour hand. The clock works and looks great.

I would order a longer stem of I had it to do over just made through wood with just enough to get nut on. That was my fault when ordering. The clock is working find and keeping correct time. It was not difficult to do. I would order again if I needed a replacement for any other battery operated clock.

Although I measured the piece I was replacing, it still turned out to be a shade too short. It isn't worth paying additional shipping plus restocking fee for the cost of the clock part. The part itself was perfect though and great packing too!

The clock itself keeps perfect time and seems to be well made. The hour and minute hands worked but the second hand didn't fit. The second hand was needed on this particular clock. I was able to make the old second hand work but it is not right.

Quartz Clocks

We had two mini clocks that were not operating. We were able to work with Bearwood and got the components. The clocks were easily repaired within 15 mins each and are accurately displaying the time.

The movement was easily installed using the online diagram. It appears to be of a much better manufacture than others I've previously purchased. So far,over the past week, it is keeping excellent time.The free set of hands was a nice addition.

My original movement was an Elgin, and this new one was very close in design to it. A bit short on the shaft, but I just left out my spacer and it all went together and worked very nicely.

My first purchase from BW, Order two Quartz movements and hands. When it arrived, I thought the worse as the box was in very sad shape. It literally appeared to have driven over with a bicycle as there was a 2" wide groove on both sides and these were 1" deep. I thought there was no way the movements would not be damaged. Fortunately the movements were bubble wrapped well. I installed one of the movements and it works perfectly, I'm saving the other for a future project. The hand set was bent a bit although only required a bit of convincing to straighten everything. Clock fit and works perfect, I like the very precise movement and it appears to be accurate. thanks and thanks for the bubble wrapped protection, it worked!

Clocks arrived nicely packaged and in time for Christmas gifts which I had made out of CD's. I wash't expecting them until mid January. I was very impressed with this awesome service from Bear Woods. Will be ordering another 20 clocks in the near future. Clocks all work perfect, easy to assemble. It's important to make sure you select the proper hands for your project as the first order I put in about a month ago, I had ordered hands that were just a little too long for my CD clocks. Also make sure the clock you order has the correct thickness for the dial face as well. All in all, no complaints and very satisfied with Bear Woods service.

I was replacing the clockwork in a garden clock that has a thermometer. I had to futz with the arms to clear the thermometer stem and arm. I got it wrong at first and the clockwork jammed and stopped. I thought I might have broken it - but it resumed working once I adjusted all clearances. Also, the battery electrodes on the new unit are far superior to the original.
I spent a total of $16 for parts and shipping. A new garden clock is about $22. The savings don't seem like much, but I can happily report that I kept the old clock out of the landfill. Recycling/repurposing is important to my wife and I. Besides that, it's now a much better clock!

When our favorite clock stopped working, I hit the internet (YouTube actually) and came across your video on how to repair your own clock. From there I went to your website and ordered the parts, SO EASY. I watched the video while putting everything together, which made it easy. There was an issue with the clock hands, but customer service handled it quickly. Knowledgeable staff, customer service is stellar. Everything turned out very well and I am very happy. My clock works again! The only thing I would like to see are larger hour hands (width). For my senior eyes it’s a little difficult to differentiate the hour and minute hands..

The mini quartz movement that I bought to replace the one in an old table top clock I have. The movement fit perfectly in the clock and the hands that came with it were better than the original ones. It was easy to install without modification, all the screw holes lined up. I had the new movement in the clock in under fifteen minutes. And the clock runs like new again. My wife was really happy to have her clock working. I would recommend following the instructions on how to take measurements and make sure you take a careful look at the pictures of the movement that you are considering on purchasing.
US Made Quartz Movement

I was in need of a new clock mechanism and hands for an mid-80s New Haven 'Daily Bread' wall clock. I couldn't find the exact mechanism to re-use the hands, so I had to purchase something similar. This was close enough to the original, although the shaft was slightly longer. I use the washer on the back side of the clock face too shorten the shaft. The unit is fully functional and I'm back up and running. It's also a USA made part, so bonus there, at least for me.

These clock parts are easy to assemble and work just fine. I have used hundreds of them for clocks that I make and sell. I have never had a customer complaint which makes me very happy. The added bonus is that they are made in USA, and while I would be happier if they were Canadian made, finding anything made in North America is a coup. I am also a great fan of the straight hands which look sleek and modern and the spade hands for a more traditional look.

Clock hands are a little lighter weight than what I've used in the past from another company but they look good never-the-less.

I have used these products before, from another distributor, and found them equality satisfactory for the little clocks we were making for Cub Scouts. However, I paid for the two day shipping, and the items arrived about 8 days after ordering, after our last meeting before Christmas, so we had to plan a special meeting the day before Christmas for the boys to finish the project.

Supplied items as ordered. Had an issue with installing the Seconds hand as my old mechanism had a much smaller shaft. The Seconds hand supplied did fit with firm pressure applied. The slits on opposing sides of the Seconds hand enabled this.

The parts work great. I had a problem with the hour hand, the mounting hole in the hour hand was too big and it did not fit the movement. I reused the old hour hand from my worn out movement. I notified your customer service representative (Analies) about the wrong size hole in the hour hand. The clock works and looks great.

I would order a longer stem of I had it to do over just made through wood with just enough to get nut on. That was my fault when ordering. The clock is working find and keeping correct time. It was not difficult to do. I would order again if I needed a replacement for any other battery operated clock.

Although I measured the piece I was replacing, it still turned out to be a shade too short. It isn't worth paying additional shipping plus restocking fee for the cost of the clock part. The part itself was perfect though and great packing too!

The clock itself keeps perfect time and seems to be well made. The hour and minute hands worked but the second hand didn't fit. The second hand was needed on this particular clock. I was able to make the old second hand work but it is not right.
