This is a must have if you are looking for the direct heat for hard woods
I love my new colwood dual burner. It heats up and cools down Extremely fast it supper easy to use. Comes with 9 tips. Pens are comfortable for most part they do get a little warm however I wrapped a piece of denim around the cork Handel and are a little more comfortable to hold. The connection points cord to pen and poin to pen get hot but they don't interfere. The Bart I liked the most was each pen and tip came in it's own plastic tube5 thats labled. The tips themselves are not labled. Would be nice if they were but not much surface area to do so. You do get a list with line drawn pictures of the tips available for purchase. If your interested in pyography this is a very nice kit to start with. Order from bearwoods.com they are a superb customer care company!!! Not getting paid to say that.
This item was a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. He was absolutely thrilled and loves it. He has already completed several small projects/hobby pieces. The item shipped very quickly and customer service was excellent. I was notified by a phone call that the item did not ship on the intended day, but would the next. I did not expect to get that phone call, however it was greatly appreciated. Item came in very well packaged and in perfect condition. If you are looking for an item like this, do not hesitate to buy from Bear Woods. I would recommend to anyone and will buy from them again if needed in the future.
I upgraded to this tool after doing research over the past 3 years I've been woodburning. Turns out I was really suffering by not using the Colwood! It's made a huge difference in my artwork, and it's an absolute joy to use. Really appreciate Bear Woods getting this item to me quickly, and for their selection of replacement nibs and everything. Product arrived earlier than I wastold. The product was secured and protected with packing foam and arrived in perfect condition. It works better than i assumed. Heats fast,cools off quickly,and being able to switch from 1 wand to another by flipping a switch is great. I am satisfied beyond words.
