Niqua New Spiral Gold Scroll Saw Blade #1 (.011" x .033" x 27TPI) (Pk/12)
These newly designed blades are excellent for cutting wood, horn and plastic! They possess the ability to make all-around cuts as the Spiral teeth are on both sides of the blades. This allows for a smoother cut and makes it easier to control.

I heard a lot about the Niqua blades from Steve Good (he has been my mentor for many years) I found the blades quite acceptable for spiral and a little less expensive, I will be trying the #3 (UR3) next. I am very happy with Bear Woods, I did buy the pegas blade chucks for my DW788 and wore them out after a year and little more, I'm back to the standard DW blade chucks for now, I did like them, however I thought they would last a little longer, I use my saw approximately 10 hours per weekend on the average.
Great blades for beginners.
These blades are better for beginners because they're not quite as brittle a Pegas. but Pegas ones are better cutting.
