Install a FRESH Duracell or Energizer Battery (But not a rechargeable type). In our experience, these are the only batteries that are reliable for clock mechanisms.

perfect fit-perfect time

A friend of my father custom crafted a wooden clock from curly maple lumber many years ago, it may be a "one of a kind design". My father died 14 years ago, I've had the non-working clock stashed away since.
While doing some clean-up, the clock resurfaced and I decided to research new battery operated clocks and had a fairly tough search to find the exact size needed...so when Bear Woods popped up with the exact size, I ordered it.
It did spend longer than anticipated in the postal system(s), but once delivered I installed the new clock and it has not needed re-set since - perfect time keeping, it appears to be a quality product. Hopefully it will last years and years.

We ordered a replacement face for a handmade clock, and it’s very nice. The black rim looks sharp with the black numbers. It fit perfectly, and keeps time well. Thank you!
