This clock insert operates with an "N" cell battery. They are similar to AA but smaller in size. Please install a fresh, preferably name brand battery for best success.

The clocks are fine. I ordered one earrlier and it came with a rubber washed/shim to fit my application. I ordered 9 more, and I didn't get the shim. I called 4 times over 3 days and the answering machine said they WILL get back to me, Still nothing yet. I needed the rubber washer with the 9 I purchased,

Finding a replacement clock for a 30 year old Sligh mantle clock was becoming difficult - until I found this piece at Bear Woods. Order was filled quickly and shipment was as expected. Except for the word "Sligh" above the pivot, the clock is almost identical to the original

You did quite well. I could only be happier if a wind up clock had been available. with a tiny shim Your clock fit snugly and the 100 year old prop housing can once again tell time.
