Make Scrolling Easier and Safer with a Deadman Style Footswitch.
With a Deadman style switch you keep pressing on the pedal to turn it on and release pressure to turn it off. Plug the saw into the switch, then the switch into the wall.
Foot switches let you leave the speed setting and without taking your hands off the work you can stop the saw.

Does the job, but needs some work

The foot switch appears to be a quality item that will do its job for a long time. The only thing I don't like is that I have to have my foot all the way on top of it to work. I think it may just be too tall. My old switch was physically smaller and permitted me to keep my foot on the floor and activate it with a toe. With this switch my whole foot has to be off the ground and on the switch, which I find awkward and can become uncomfortable after a long stint of sawing.

The foot switch works - exactly as you would expect. It is a bit difficult to adjust to varying the speed with the pressure as the foot switch is a bit sensitive, but I have found the ability to stop it dead on command without needing to take my hands off the workpiece and turn it off is the biggest benefit. Well worth the cost for that alone.

It works just like it is supposed to, press down and whatever is plugged into it runs, release the pressure and everything stops. I've tried the on/off type of click switch, and for scrolling this type of switch can't be beat. Try it, you'll like it!

This stand is definitely a must for the Pegas scroll saw. Keeping the vibrations down is so important when cutting those hands woods. I also learned that you can tilt the stand up or down on one side for an angled approach to the saw! Pretty cool!

This is a very heavy duty stand, was very easy to assemble and attach to the saw and it looks good too. It was also easy to get leveled to the position I wanted, would recommend this stand to anyone who purchased the Pegas 21 Scroll Saw!!!

Very happy with this foot switch, makes controlling the saw a breeze and leaves both hands free to keep on the work piece. Highly recommend this if you are going to do a lot of scrolling, makes it a lot safer also!!!

I am well please with the foot switch I had some questions about it before purchasing it but the bear sales rep and Steve g answered them taking a little getting use to as I still reach up for the on off switch

I will never use a scroll saw without this foot switch. The deadman's switch is well worth it as when a blade breaks you just let off the switch and the saw shuts off.

Like the size of unit, was able to build a platform that I screw to then used felt tape to secure to floor very easy to fine with foot.
