Trouble-free Pendulum Movement Replacement

This was my first order from Bear Woods, and I'm not an experienced clock repairman, so it was a pleasant surprise that things went exactly as hoped. We have a very fun, handmade clock with a face of stacked decorative glass, a curly red metal second hand, and a wacky swinging pendulum that originally took a separate battery. A year ago that pendulum battery corroded and leaked, and the clock still told time but without any "swing" below. Given the custom look and heaviness of the pendulum, I feared the worst. This replacement movement works perfectly, uses only one battery, and took one tool--a pair of jeweler's pliers--and fifteen minutes to install. I did have to look up some instructions on how to remove the original's second hand (it wasn't obvious to me that it could just be pulled off and popped onto the replacement movement's shaft) but it was no problem and included in the repair time above. "Fantastic replacement clockworks" is absolutely a fair description. Thank you!
Pendulum Movement

The movement ordered was used to convert a conventional clock to one with a pendulum movement. It was installed and running within minutes of arrival, and I am very pleased.
We did, however, run into some shipping delays moving the device diagonally across the entire North American continent, complicated by weather issues in the middle. But Bear Woods was very pleasant to deal with during this time.
I suppose that I would opt for shipping by air for any future orders.
All in all, everything worked out well.

Very satisfied with service. Took time to send me an e-mail to inquire if I wanted the clock handles which were free. Did a little bit of "MagIvering" as the clock in question was very small and the pendulum movement needed a little bit more room at the top to fit. It all worked out well and am happy to have been able to fix my special clock. Thank you.
Clock Motor Fits & Works Well

I needed a long shaft clock motor to replace one on a specially made artistic clock that stopped working. This one works perfectly! And it was a plus that it was constructed in the European style so my old clock hands worked with this new motor as well! The only downside was that it took over a week for it to arrive here.

We purchased a Murano glass pendulum clock during a trip to Venice. The pendulum swings past a hole, so the measurements had to be precise. Then the clock mechanism died. I could not get the Italian mechanism, so I bought this one. It fit PERFECTLY. It could not have been any better!
