The set screws and swivels are wear items on all chuck heads. Freshen up your chuck head and reduce blade slippage by changing out the top and bottom Set Screws.

So happy to be able to replace my chuck head. Have been experiencing blad slippage lately and after watching Steve Good, I found out what my problem was. Now I have several renewal kits in my stash.

I ordered these parts to fix the chuck head on my saw, which they did not. Talked with Michael and he explained that some of the chuck head were faulty and would cracked down the middle. I sent him a pic to confirm that he was correct. I explained that mine came from a new saw that I bought in 2024. I don't know the status of this issue and what actions I should take.

One of only a couple of sources for a complete rebuild kit for the Pegas blade clamp. The clamp set screw and wears over time allowing the potential for blade slippage. Instead of replacing the clamp just order and install the rebuild kit from these great, customer service focused people.

I recently bought this item from Bear Woods for my saw, and it's money well spent. The delivery from Canada to Scotland was very, very quick, and the folks at Bear Woods are great to deal with. Pay them a visit, you will not be disappointed.

these parts just work for a really long time. The Pegas head for the dewalt saw is a must have. I have never had any regrets for buying the head. These parts are just routine maintenance parts.
