I always used other brands of blades blades in the past and while visiting one of my woodworking sites I came across a post from one of the members that experimented cutting with the modified blades, He was so pleased with the results that I decided to try them. I ordered 9 dozen of different sizes and I was blown away with the results. These blades cut thru hardwoods with ease, they do not burn and outlast any blade I ever used. I will never go back to any of my past blades and I will order my blades from Bear woods from now on. Your prices and shipping rates are fantastic. I would never hesitate to refer you to my friends.

Our responseThanks Michael for the kind review of the Modified Geometry Blades by Pegas. We are grateful for your patronage and for sharing with friends.
I do a lot of work on my scroll saws, and have tried a number of different blades. Some of the projects I make require interior cuts in 6/4 oak, and this blade is up to the task. I purchased a dozen to try them out, then liked their performance so much I bought several dozen more. Tearout on the back is minimal, requiring only a touch of hand sanding to remove the little "fuzzies." I highly recommend you try these blades if you ever work on thicker wood.
I own a woodworking business and do a lot of work on the scroll saw. Some of my items require inside cuts on 6/4 poplar and oak. Up until I tried these blades I had not found one that worked as well as I would like. The #12 Pegas modified geometry blade is now my first (and only) choice for cutting 6/4 woods. These blades leave only a modest amount of "fuzzies" on the back side of the workpiece, and a small amount of light sanding clears them up.
I was very skeptical about these blades being any better than the ones I was using but decided to try them anyway. I can't believe how much better they are! WOW! They cut my walnut and maple like butter! I'm so happy to have bought them! No more wood burning! And they last longer too! I would definitely recommend them to any scroller wanting a better quality blade.
These blades really cut well. I really like the #12 for cutting 3/4 hard woods.
They do to use different drill bits for pilot holes for internal cuts. Many scroll saw users to many internal cuts. I am just saying that you should sell that the various blades need for pilot holes or at least include a link and blade size numbers.
I've been scrolling for 20 years, have used many brand name blades and I really like the modified geometry blades. I cut through 2"wood on a project with my Hawk scroll saw. The court was smooth and fast and I just had to do minimal sanding. I'm sticking with these blades
I have several projects I make on the scroll saw that require cutting 6/4 oak or maple. The Pegas #12 Modified Geometry blades work well on thick stock. If you ever need to cut any wood over one-inch thick, you need to try these blades.
Thank you very much for getting my order put in the mail so quickly, shipped with in hours, outstanding. These saw blades are the best I have used, could not believe how well these blades cut, they are my # 1 choice from now on. TOM
My order arrived just over a week from when I placed the order week. I received everything and well packaged. I love the blades. They are good quality and cut well. I would have given 5 stars if the order had shipped quicker.
Love these with my pegas! It is definitely worth the investment! I’m able to cut out so much more with these blades and they stay sharp so much longer than most other blades I’ve bought in the past!
I’ve been scroll sawing for over 25 years. I only wish I had discovered these Pegas blades sooner. They cut smoother and last longer than any other brand I have ever used!
These blades cut thru extremely hard salvaged maple better than any I’ve tried. They have lasted much longer than other blades I’ve used.
Purchased #12 pegas blades to cut 1” oak
The blades preformed very well. Very happy with the quality of the cut.
I've played with a scroll saw for decades. These are the best blades I've ever used!
I love these blades! They cut so well and are reasonably priced!
Excellent blades. Fast shipping. Good value.
