I replaced the clock movements and hands on a clock. Worked out perfectly. Clock is as good as new! The shipping was quick and reasonabe compared to another company I found online. I would definitely purchase from Bear Woods again. Be sure to measure the everything so you order the right parts.I needed the high torque movement. And know that you will need new hands in order to propery fit the new motor thingy. Keeps perfect time so far! So much nicer than replacing a clock that I love.

Bought our second clock motor and hands from Bear Woods. Again, very happy. We were replacing the originals on an expensive Pottery Barn clock that just could not keep time. The hands were the same color as the clock so they couldn't be seen. The clock is so much better now and keeps perfect time.

I recently puchased a high torque mechanism and a replacement set of 6" clock hands to repair a clock that had broken in a fall. The repair work only took minutes and the clock has a fresh new look. The new mechanism is silent, which is also a bonus!!. Keeps accurate time.
I noticed out large wall clock was no longer keeping time and I found Bear Woods on the enternet and they looked like a great source for a new replacement motor.
The part arrived in just a few days and worked perfectly!

You did GREAT! The mechanism was exactly as described, inexpensive, and shipping was fast. I tried to do a google review but for some reason the sign in block kept coming up and the ability to write something was non existent.
I have been making spool clocks and using high torque movements from other suppliers. I switched from those because of the high failure rate. So far this seems to be better made. Hopefully it continues to work as planned

Purchased movement to replace one in a clock that was 24 yrs old and retired. Fit perfect, easy to install, and keeping perfect time. (Customer is once again happy with their clock).
The clock movement works very well on our outside clock. However I was unable to attach the 10 inch minute hand due to different configuration. Getting by with hour hand.

This hi torque clock motor fixed my large clock problem. Original motor did not have enough torque to turn the hands. This motor works great with large hands.
I had to replace 2 movements in 2 clocks. Movements were built overseas. Crap. These US built movements are great. No issues.
