I had bought a different clock face prior to this one (elsewhere online) for about $10. I was a bit disappointed at how cheap and light it felt. So when I saw that this one was almost 3x the price and advertising a brass bezel, I had pretty high expectations for it. When it arrived, I was not totally sure that the bezel was/is actually brass, or just plastic made to look like it. Certainly, the weight of the insert didn't feel very premium (not triple-the-price-premium, at least), but it did match the look I needed, and took a more standard battery than the other face did.
I didn't do any testing on the bezel to confirm if it was metal, or not, but it's pretty thin, if it is.
The face itself looks great, functions as expected, and served my purpose. My only reason for not 5 stars is the plastic-y feel of this piece marketed as premium.

This insert was a replacement for a clock that was given by my husband & I to my parents for Christmas 2001. On their deaths (20 hours apart), I inherited this clock. Unfortunately, the hands of the clock were damaged beyond repair. Your company had the exact clock. It fit perfectly. It’s now in our dining room where I can see it everyday & be reminded of my wonderful parents & the many happy memories we all shared. Thank you.

I’m glad I found this company on the net, being in Australia I tried to source clock from local companies, but to no avail. I was concerned about overseas ordering but I had not worry, all processes right from an easy to read website, through the ordering process and down to the packing and delivery. The hole process went smoothly, even this email came the same day as the package. Highly recommended

I already have one of these but thought it had stopped working so ordered another. Now the one I have is working again. Can I send this one back? I love the face and it looks wonderful in the woodworking piece it is inserted in. That's why I ordered another. The piece was a gift from a dear friend.

Love the clock-even better than original. The clock base was handmade by a family friend for my wedding gift, and the original clock worked well but eventually through many moves stopped working. The new clock is even better and I'm thrilled to have my beautiful clock on view again. Thanks!

Made a desk set for granddaughter’s graduation and wanted a clock as centerpiece. I didn’t want a cheap looking plastic bezel and the brass one from Bearwoods was worth the extra cost. Looks good and even keeps time!
