Make larger wall clocks. 10 inch clock hands for high torque movements
The measurement is from the hole where the hands mount onto the high torque shaft, to the tip. Hour hands are proportionate.
These hands are USA Made of quality aluminum.
Tips for making larger wall clocks:
1. Second hands not included - we don't recommend second hands with high torque movements as they draw too much power.
2. Still want a second hand? - choose our balanced 10 inch red or black second hands that work with our Continuous Sweep High Torque Motors.
If you are going to trim the hand to fit a particular size clock dial, the minute hand must remain balanced. Normally people just glue the material removed right under where it was cut from. You can check the balance of any minute hand just by placing the mounting hole on your fingertip. If it lays there flat then it’s balanced, but if it falls off your fingertip, it’s not properly balanced.

How do I choose the right size clock motor & hands? 2) The size of hands is based on the length of the minute hand from the mounting hole to the end of the minute hand. (Figures 3 & 4) 3) Our clock motors are sized by the thickness of the dial the movements can go through. EG. High torque Q-64 will go through up to 5/8" thick material, while standard/mini motor Q-65 will go through 3/8" thick clock faces. (Figure 1 and item "A" in Figure 2) Tip 1) If your material is too thick, consider removing some to in-set the clock. Or if your clock face material is too thin, consider adding some material behind the face so the hands will sit closer to your clock face. Tip 2) Most hands can be slightly trimmed if need be. Tip 3) Our customers also spray paint them. |

Very satisfied with the clock hands I purchased to repair my clock. I believe they were received before the actual date they gave me. The clock hands were put in a plastic bag then wrapped in paper and put in a box inside the shipping box. I would definitely order from them again. They deliver what they say they will. Excellent company to do business with. I found them on the internet and was not sure if they were legit. There are. I believe there was a business card included from the company president. Clock were easy to install.
The clock movement and set of hands were received excellent condition and within the time frame promised.
The clock movement was installed approximately one week ago and is keeping perfect time. The hands are attractive and work well with the movement and clock face.
The items arrived and were as expected. The clock motors were indeed made in the USA and not China. The first clock was a success and I expect the others to be the same.
Items were shipped promptly, but huge delay with CanadaPost, even though I paid for expedited shipping. Long hands and extra torque motor work great!
They were really nice but scratched and I had to take a black Sharpe to color black on the silver showing through.
With the new motor and hands, the large clock now keeps time. Easy to install. Very happy.
Make clocks as a hobby and these are great. Will definitely continue to buy this product
The extended end of the minute hand appears too big/wide as compared to the hour hand.
Beautiful set. Project turned out great. Just wish you carried the numbers also.
Very satisfied with everything. Definitely will be ordering from Bear Woods again!
My clock project is a real head turner. The hands fit the application perfectly.
Thank you Bear Woods, product arrived as promised in excellent condition
Mostly great, a few had the metal insertion ring come off.

Prompt delivery. Products worked as described.
Very good. Excellent job
All was excellent!
