The finish on the 5/8" birch mushroom cap plugs were perfect and ready for staining.The fit the holes (drilled with a 5/8" Forstner bit) perfectly. Thank you for your prompt completion of the order. I used them with white oak and with birch boards. Originally I was going to use flush plugs but for these custom door pulls they look "smart" and give a good sensei of class to the project.
