3/32" by 12" Birch Dowels - USA Made
All Bear Woods Dowel Rods are kiln dried, clear, smooth, straight and accurately sized. Our eighth inch by twelve inch Premium Hardwood Birch Doweling is made from high quality wood, and is North American made. North American made Dowel Rods are made with a higher quality and standard than those imported.
Twelve inch Dowels, or Dowel Sticks are excellent for multiple applications, and are well made craft dowel sticks. These 12" Dowel Rods are well made craft dowel sticks.

Good Looking Dowels

I have had issues locally getting dowel rods that are close to the reported size. These small (3/32") dowels are great. the sizes were quite uniform in diameter and are working nicely for my project. Shipping form Canada always seems to take a bit longer that shipping in the continental US but these were well worth the wait.

The dowels were delivered in a very timely manner while packaged and in good shape when they did arrivedThey are being used today I'm building tank tracks and they are the pins that hold the pieces together so the track can rotate around. They are the pins it will be the rotating point of the tracks. The quality of the bells were very good.

3/32" is a very small dowel, a size I could not find elsewhere. The product isn't entirely straight, nor is the surface as smooth as one might wish. I'm using it to build an HO scale rustic pole barn, so these are fine for this application. They may not suffice when straight, accurate, and smooth diameter and needed.

I ordered 3/32" dowels and some scroll saw blades. The scroll saw blades are top notch but the dowels I received are actually 1/64" or slightly smaller and much smaller than what I ordered/needed. I guess I can find a use for the smaller dowels at some point and didn't feel it was worth the trouble to return.
