Purchased a pendulum chime clock mechanism with pendulum and clock hands to replace the mechanism in an existing wall clock who's battery mechanism was failing.
This replacement was received on the date promised and in good condition. The Westminster sound is great and it fit my clock face with no problem. The mechanism had a couple more buttons on it with no instructions but bear Woods customer service were great in obtaining and providing the instructions. Somehow the new hands did not get included with the shipment, but I was able to modify the old hands to work so I was credited for the cost of the hands.
This company is great to deal with and the customer service is great as well.
Would recommend to anyone.

I ordered a Q-58s chime and pendulum movement to restore an old grandfather clock that had not run in over 10 years. The movement arrived promptly and in perfect condition. Installation was very easy. Synchronization of the time and chiming pattern proved to be challenging but the Bear Woods customer support team (particularly Shelby) stayed on the case until I was able to complete the task. My clock now keeps perfect time and the 4x4 Westminster chimes really sound just like tubular bells-beautiful! My recommendation is to go with this movement if you want melodies but don't hesitate to reach out to Bear Woods for technical support. They are very helpful people!

I purchased this to build a chime clock out of a clock I had that I love. The mechanism came quickly, packaged nicely to avoid damage in shipping. It was easy to install. I purchased this one specifically for the night mode. I love it and havenâ€™t had any issues with time lag or other mechanical problems.

This was for a rebuild of a schoolhouse wall clock that was an anniversary gift from my employer at mid point of my 50 year career with the company: 25 years in August 1990.
Restoration was perfect and good for another 50 years.

We love our clock and the Ave Maria melody. This also has Christmas chime melodies.The online instructions are for a different model though, so it took some figuring and trial and error to get it perfect.

MOVEMENT WORKS FINE .SM CLOCK HANDS OKAY. INCORRECT PENDULUM WHICH DID NOT FIT MOVEMENT. I WAS TOLD TO RETURN EVERYTHING I PURCHASED WHICH I THOUGHT WAS NOT WORKABLE. MOST DISAPPOINTED.

Install a FRESH Duracell or Energizer Battery (But not a rechargeable type). In our experience, these are the only batteries that are reliable for clock mechanisms. Sometimes you will even try a separate pack as not all new packs have perfect batteries.
