Best option for hanging stretched canvas! -- 2014-01-10 I use these O-shaped hangers in my professional print studio because they are a single solid piece with no moving parts and they sit very flat. The former feature means they are virtually unbreakable and will last forever. So they can carry a much heavier load than a hinged design. It also means they are less expensive to purchase.
The latter feature means there is less likelihood that any part of the mounting hardware will scuff the wall when the piece is hung. I've used this hanger on canvasses up to 72"x36". So there is no need to keep a bunch of different parts around--I just stock this one. So don't let the low price or the word "economy" deter you... these are actually the best, smartest option for hanging stretched canvas paintings and prints.-- Brad Grigor
